Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager (Lead) to oversee the full engineering lifecycle of large-scale solar PV projects. This role is key to ensuring technical excellence, effective coordination across EPC partners, and seamless progression from design through to commissioning.
As the technical lead, you will provide overarching project leadership, drive engineering governance, and guide the Owners Engineer (OE) team toward successful delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
Provide overall engineering leadership and serve as primary interface with EPC contractors.
Drive detailed project planning, coordination, scheduling, reporting, and technical governance.
Lead and manage the OE technical team across all project phasesfrom design review to construction oversight to commissioning.
Ensure that engineering outputs meet contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements.
Mitigate project risks, resolve technical challenges, and maintain alignment across multidisciplinary teams.
Oversee quality assurance, compliance, and adherence to industry standards.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline).
15+ years engineering experience, with strong exposure to major infrastructure or energy projects.
5+ years experience specifically in utility-scale solar PV projects.
Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams in an EPC / OE environment.
Strong project leadership, stakeholder management, and technical decision-making capability.
