Planning, procuring & introducing (project management) new / upgrades to facilities incorporating.
Developing specifications (Specifications for the installation of Systems / Facilities / Equipment)
Preparing and presenting approval documentation for new facilities/products including technical evaluation of tenders.
Overseeing project implementation by establishing sites, managing change points, coordinating stakeholders during construction, commissioning, Budget, and Timing adherence.
Tracking actual expenditure versus budget, progress payments, and final payments.
Updating layouts for projects and submitting to HLS layout specialist.
Buy-off of new equipment with Final Acceptance Schedule (end of commissioning).
Ensuring suppliers provide documentation for the facility (operating manuals, maintenance manuals, drawings etc.)

Education and Experience
National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 3-5 years relevant project management experience including specifications, competitive tenders and legal compliance in a manufacturing environment.
Skills, Attributes & Other requirements ESSENTIAL:
Sound Electrical knowledge (light current, general power and 3 phase)
Ability to manage projects and interface with a diverse team from various departments
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Have strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
Organizing, coordinating, planning as well as resourcefulness skills
Ability to deal with complex tasks
Good people skills and an ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Proven analytical skills with an innovative approach to problem-solving
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated to achieve targets
Have initiative and be able to work under pressure
