Project Engineer
Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to plan, cost, coordinate, and manage assigned Workshop Repair and Field Services projects for the overhaul, repair, revamp, manufacturing, installation, and modernization of rotating equipment. Lead project coordination to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction with services and equipment. Coordinate the interface between the client and the various groups within the organization involved in the quotation, contract review, order entry, staffing, purchasing, execution, invoicing and collections. The position will be based in Sasolburg.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years project management experience
- Technical knowledge of Rotating Equipment, Reciprocating Compressors, Gas Compressor Engines & Steam Turbines.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and EHS practices and requirements
- Good negotiation skills.
- Customer-facing experience and strong communication skills a must.
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Projects
- A valid Code 08 driverxe2x80x99s licence.
