Project Engineer (Mechanical) - CenturionOur Client is currently seeking to employ a Project Engineer with a mechanical background and industry experience to form part of the project team for an initial 12 months contract - which might be longer or permanent depending on projects.Background in the mining industry (run-of-mine crushing/sizing/screening) is highly desirable, with exposure to plant and equipment layouts.Core responsibilities: Planning, designing, organizing, overseeing the assembly, design, erection and maintenance (as required) of mechanical and process plant and installationsMinimum requirements:Proven working experience in a projects environmentValid Driver's License with clean abstractMust be willing to travelClear Criminal Record4 - 6 years experience after completion of degreeEducation and ExperienceMechanical Engineering qualification (degree).Project Management Professional certification (PMP), preferred or working towards.Familiar with manufacturing methods, techniques and procedures.Knowledge and experience on computer aided design software (SolidWorks and AutoCAD skills essential)Competencies RequiredProficient with 2D CAD design and drafting with the ability to use industry standard CAD systems for design and documentationComputer literate (MS Office skills essential).
