Our client has a senior position available for a Project Engineer based in Gauteng.

Requirements:

A formal Chemical or Process Engineer BEng/BSc Eng/BTech degree.
4 to 8+ years applicable post graduate experience.
Professionally registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa.
Process Engineering experience related to Process Infrastructure, Water Purification and Innovation.
Project Engineering and Project Management experience.
ISO quality systems knowledge.
Computer competent in Project Management software.

Responsibilities:

Perform a full range of varied and responsible process, and project engineering or management.
Be involved in work where no clear precedents exist and which requires going beyond existing parameters.
Develop pre-project recommendations into project scopes of work, functional and detailed requirements.
Interface with the other engineering disciplines.
Review project team members' inputs and outputs for technical accuracy, adequacy and compliance with standards.
Identify innovation improvements opportunities and projects to support greater effectiveness for the business.
Provide technical or project based reports to management as well as other areas of business.
