The Project Engineer will be directly responsible for executing projects within the Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Northwest provinces.Position: Project Engineer Industry: Industrial Energy IndustryLocation: Johannesburg - GautengSalary: Market related but max is R 45 000 CTCStart: ASAPPeriod: Permanent Introduction:Our client has a national footprint that specializes in the innovative operation and management methods of coal fired Boiler plants on behalf of Industrial users is looking for a Project Engineer who will be reporting to the Engineering Manager.Position OverviewThe Project Engineer will be directly responsible for executing projects within the Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Northwest provinces.Requirements:Matric / Grade 12Engineering Degree (B Eng / BSc Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Mechatronics).Minimum working experience of 3 years. Good interpersonal skills to support working with contractor and client personnel at all levels. Be willing to work extended hours and travel at short notice as the need arises. Good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and MS Projects. Have a reliable vehicle and a valid driverxe2x80x99s license.Key Responsibilities:Evaluation, Initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring and closure of a project. Develop project budgets, track and report on project costs versus budget. Monitor and manage the project timing plan and take appropriate action as necessary. Maintain a project file that documents all aspects of the project. Manage contractors to ensure the project is delivered to the defined specification and client expectations. Communicate regularly to the various project stakeholders. Experience in systems integration projects (troubleshooting, design changes, upgrades) Have experience or an interest in energy and steam generation plant, fuel (coal, HFO, biomass) management, water treatment. Past experience with ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 compliance.
