Qualifications
- Senior certificate / Grade 12 Essential
- N. Dip in Engineering discipline Essential
- BSc Eng/B in Tech Engineering discipline Desirable
- The project engineer is responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing the operations and fiscal health of the respective project. This role is also responsible for overseeing and leading the output of the project team under them and the management and delivery of projects in a process plant design and construction environment.
- Project engineering work relating to process plants including studies, basic engineering and detailed engineering minimum 3 Years Essential.
- Engineering design experience on projects pertaining to process plant design and construction 3 years Essential
- Supervision/Management 2 Years Desirable
- Project Management 2 Years Desirable
Knowledge
- Good business acumen (i.e., numeracy skills, understanding and generation of budgets reports)
- Good knowledge of market related suppliers
- Procurement processes and procedures
- Communication Skills (verbal and written)
- Analytical Skills
