The project engineer will be responsible for fulfilling the role of the network and security specialist as required for SANRAL tender specifications. Further to the SANRAL tendered role, this person will be part of a team of people responsible for technology research and development of new functionality, and/or bettering of current functionality. It may be a requirement for this person to lead this research and development team and requires extensive knowledge and experience in hardware and software development and management. Depending on projects and status of company affairs at any given point, this person may be required to act as Project Manager to manage programs, resources and budgets as needed. The Project Engineer will also be responsible for the Company's IT infrastructure and management of assets and IT staff.

Grade 12
Diploma or degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a related field. Professional registration - ECSA, PMP or IITPSA preferable.
Valid unendorsed Code 08 driver's license.

Project planning and strategy
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budget, and resource allocation.
