Job Description

A multinational corporation has an exciting opportunity for a project engineer who has strong mechanical design and leadership skills. If you are looking for an opportunity to join a market leader in the liquid packaging industry and have a proven track record of delivering projects in line with project management principles this is for you.

Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor engineering projects.
Ensure projects are delivered OTIF in line with the project scope.
Execute technical responsibilities in line with the project plan including design, research and development, data capturing, and testing.
Identify and mitigate potential product and OHS risks.
Provide support to the maintenance team in machine breakdowns and root cause analysis.
Review and track project expenses in line with the project budget.
Provide support to the quality team on customer complaints and implementation of preventative action plans.
Provide support to the rest of the team on design and related issues.
Compile manufacturing drawings, BOMxe2x80x99s and part lists as required by projects.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2- 5 years of practical experience in project management, engineering, or system design.
Advanced Mechanical Design and CAD skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Proven track record of delivering projects OTIF in line with professional project management principles.
Experience in industrial automation and electrical control systems will be advantageous.
Experience in pneumatic system design.

Qualification:
BEng/BTech in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering
