Job Description
Our client has an opportunity available for a Mechanical Design and Project Engineer . Who has extensive expierience within FEA, FEM, MATLAB, MathCAD and Solidworks.
Requirements:
- Be an expert in 3D CAD packages; including detailed design of industrial machines, sub-components, sheet metal design, weldments & large-scale assemblies.
- Generate detailed drawings and BOM's.
- Manage and supervise the manufacturing of the products
- Quality Control
- Research and Development
- Prepare manufacturing and assembly instructions.
- Highly competent at mechanical stress and load calculations, implementation of FEA and simulation software.
- Substantial experience with industrial machines and structural design.
- Substantial knowledge of motors, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical power transmission.
- BSc or B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years industrial design experience.
- Advanced Solidworks experience.
- Advanced geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Advanced knowledge of the MS Office.
- Sound understanding of fabrication, boiler making, welding and precision machining.
- Extra Desired experience:
- LV electrical systems.
- Enterprise PDM exposure.
- FEM or FEA simulation analysis.
- Engineering calculations software.
