Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Manager to oversee the technical operations within our hospital. The Technical Manager will be responsible for managing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all technical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and reliability. This position will involve close collaboration with various departments to support patient care, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the technical operations of the hospital, including biomedical equipment, clinical systems, information technology, and facilities management.
• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs to ensure the ongoing functionality and safety of all technical systems.
• Collaborate with department heads and staff to assess their technical requirements and provide appropriate support and solutions.
• Oversee the procurement and installation of new equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Develop and manage the department budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in healthcare technology and industry trends, recommending relevant upgrades and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards, such as HIPAA, OSHA, and other relevant guidelines.
• Lead and supervise a team of technical staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Proven experience in managing technical operations in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital environment.
• Strong knowledge of biomedical equipment, clinical systems, information technology, and facilities management.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines, such as HIPAA, OSHA, and Joint Commission accreditation.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
