Project Electrician

Job Description
Our client, a leading electrical installation and maintenance company, specializing in the hazardous and petro-chemical sector, seeks to employ a trade tested and qualified Project Electrician to join their team for site based projects.
You will be either resident in Gauteng (JHB/PTA), have experience working in a hands on supervisory capacity and preference will be given to candidate who have a wireman's license.
It is to be noted that the position does require candidates to travel and live out on site during projects
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:
- You will have a recognized trade test, as Electrician, coupled with 5-8 years experience in a related industry, of which 3+ years must be in a supervisory or lead electrician level.
- You will be proficient in reading technical drawings and be able to prepare and manage stock and materials sufficient to complete projects.
- You will have excellent project planning skills and also be able to communicate effectively with subcontractors and local stakeholders.
- You will have proven experience in taking accurate job notes for estimator to procure draws from main contractor and liaise with cross-functional departments to ensure projects are run efficiently, meeting deadlines and ensuring client satisfaction
- You will be able to lead a team effectively and take ownership to bring the project to successful completion.
- You will have a valid driver's license, clear credit and criminal record and be able to provide a list of contactable references.
