What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) You'll take full ownership of delivering a major Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System powering key pump stations in Limpopo. From strategy to execution, you'll lead governance, contract compliance, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement. You'll chair the Steering Committee and act as the key executive interface between the client, board, and contractors. Overseeing all technical disciplines, you'll ensure design, integration, and delivery excellence across civil, electrical, mechanical, and control systems. Your leadership will drive risk control, financial performance, and team development - positioning this landmark project for long-term success.
Where you'll be doing it Our client is a well-established and fast-growing player in the renewable energy and infrastructure sector. What you'll need You hold a degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Industrial), ideally with a postgraduate qualification in Project Management or Business. You've led complex EPC projects of 20MW+ with budgets exceeding R500 million, and bring advanced knowledge of NEC contracts, BESS, grid integration, and renewable systems. Your experience spans commercial, technical, and stakeholder domains, backed by financial acumen and a track record in executive reporting. PMP, PrEng, or MBA would be a plus.
