Job Summary:
We help large enterprise clients with their digital transformation by utilizing skilled people across a multitude of cloud disciplines. The projects we deliver are complex, challenging and meaningful. We are looking for an empathetic, energetic and delivery-obsessed Project Delivery Lead to join our team.
As a Project Delivery Lead at BlueSky, you will be responsible for delivering digital cloud-based projects according to agreed client requirements from discovery to delivery to enable clients to achieve their business goals. You are able to strategically plan and align the internal and external project delivery processes between the client and the BlueSky team.
In this role you are the primary arbiter of delivery, you marshal people with different skill sets in both BlueSky and client organizations to drive and ensure quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Client/Customer:

• Create a single point of ownership with the client.
• Analyse relevant business intelligence to identify, justify through business cases, and drive continuous improvement initiatives for clients.
• Identify and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Develop trust relationship with client and manage client expectations.
• Establish brand with clients.
• Ensure relevant client experience and change management practices in order to support successful client project delivery.

Delivery:

• Ensure the project based on client requirements is facilitated through to completion within the required value, time frame and budgets.
• Provide project management support to the client from initial briefing and scoping phase, through to planning, estimating and budgeting, resource scheduling, design and development and full implementation of the project plans.
• Able to choose appropriate delivery methods i.e. agile, waterfall, or hybrid to enable delivery and project success.
• Deliver operational excellence with the ability to anticipate potential issues and dependencies, highlight project risks, and manage and change against any business and technical requirements by effectively suggesting solutions or contingency plans at the appropriate stage of projects.
• Ability to schedule, track and prioritise the work correctly against critical deadlines and milestones.
• Be the custodian of the project change management process. i.e. identifying scope creep and ensuring any changes/new requirements are documented, agreed and updated into the existing project plan; this includes managing formal variation orders / change requests where needed.
• Effectively communicate the project status to both internal and external stakeholders during meetings, working through respective plans and key stakeholder deliverables.
• Optimising and improving project management processes and the overall approach where necessary to find efficiency.
• Lead and manage the project team to deliver objectives of the project.
• Manage and account for project finances, including staff costs, invoicing, and client payments.
• Document and facilitate project close-out activities for handover to clients.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degrees and/or Advanced Diplomas

Preferred Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degrees with Honours and/or Advanced Diplomas

Minimum Experience:

• 3-5 yearsxe2x80x99 project management experience in a similar environment
