An NGO seeks a project coordinator, working with the fundraising team to play a pivotal role in ensuring the success and seamless execution of a variety of fundraising initiatives.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Effective and successful planning, coordination, and on-site execution of Huis Horison's fundraising events.
Effective coordination of the budget, scheduling, logistics, resources and equipment for each project.
Securing sponsorships and donations.
Effective administration of the projects - including meetings, notes, database, sending letters of thanks, tax certificates, and the organizing and maintaining of accurate detailed and orderly files regarding events.
Events and liquor licence applications.
Communication with all stakeholders involved in the projects - staff, parents, beneficiaries, sponsors, volunteers, and service providers.
Liaise with suppliers and service providers.
Identification of new fundraising projects and initiatives.
Must be willing to work after hours from time to time.
Assistance to other departments as needed.
MARKETING & FUNDRAISING
Assistance with proactive marketing and fundraising as required.
Other ad hoc tasks as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Matric is essential. Relevant tertiary qualification in project or event management.
Minimum of 10 years' proven, relevant working experience, supported by a comprehensive portfolio of previous events and fundraising initiatives.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Software and computers.
Excellent command (written and spoken) of both English and Afrikaans.
Valid driver's license required.
ADVANTAGEOUS
MS Project experience
Qualification or experience in graphic design, marketing, social media marketing, or SEO.
Videography or photography and editing.
Good writing and translation skills.
Account management, customer service
Wordpress and WooCommerce content management experience.
