Project Coordinator: Graduate Recruitment

Job Description

Duties/Pligte
Organising and managing the annual graduate recruitment programme, particularly the annual career fairs. Managing contract staff during the graduate recruitment programme. Advising employers on the best way forward to address their needs and deciding on a recruitment strategy. Publishing the annual graduate recruitment programme. Co-managing the third money stream income of the UGCS. Managing communication and marketing of career opportunities to students via mailshots with job opportunities and career resources to targeted student groups. Assisting with recruiting representatives for panel discussions and networking events such as Career Khulumas. Collaborating with student bodies, faculties, and departments to promote UGCS networking services. Collaborating with faculties and academic departments to arrange World of Work events/presentations.



Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
Bachelor's degree/advanced diploma in Industrial Psychology, Recruitment, Human Resources Management, or a related field. At least three years' relevant experience in graduate recruitment or HE career services. A strong understanding of recruitment and selection processes. Proficiency in social media and marketing. At least three years' experience in organising exhibition/career network events. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and another official South African language (bilingual proficiency preferred). Strong computer literacy and information management skills. Organisational, presentation, and conflict management skills. Strong attention to detail and professionalism. Good project management skills Computer skills in the MS-Office environment.
