Job Description
Role Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Consultant (PMO Lead) on a contract basis to establish and manage our internal Project Management Office and drive successful delivery of IT and crossfunctional business projects.
This role requires strong governance, structured project execution, and the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and lead an internal PMO, including project standards, governance, and reporting.
- Manage multiple IT and business projects from initiation to completion.
- Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies to ensure successful delivery.
- Develop project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with IT, Operations, and Executive teams to align project outcomes to business goals.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and ensure risks and issues are proactively managed.
- Mentor teams on project management best practices.
- Degree in IT, Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
- PMP, Prince2, Agile or equivalent certification (advantageous).
- 5+ years project management experience, ideally with IT or digital transformation projects.
- Experience establishing or managing PMO frameworks or governance structures.
- Proficient with MS Project, Asana, Jira, Monday.com or similar tools.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
