The Programme Manager: Ignite will manage the Ignite staff, the programme itself and the achievement of its outcomes, attend to all administration work necessary and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders both internally and external
Responsibilities

Staff Management:
Conduct 90 days reviews discussions with staff
Conduct monthly employee check-ins to assess employees' progress towards their contribution
Conduct the performance appraisal discussions twice a year
Observe how employees facilitate sessions by being a part of the classes
Monitor the implementation of employee's weekly lesson plans
Conduct staff meetings with the subordinates on a weekly basis
Coordinate training for the subordinates as and when needed
Programme Management
Manage the literacy, numeracy, digital literacy and life skills interventions
Support the Base line and End line assessments done by the subordinates
Create an action plan with the subordinates to improve the assessment results from the Base-line and End-line assessments in line with academic and life skills
Manage relationships with and effectively implement integrated partnerships within the Ignite programme
Manage the registration / de-registration of learners, monitor and maintain consistent attendance of participants accordingly
Evaluate the compliance and attendance of all learner files to make sure that all supporting documents are included before being sent to the data capturer
Manage the learner targets to comply with the communicated annual target for each age group
Evaluate registration forms to assess whether the forms are completed correctly
Conduct parents meetings in every school term
Maintain the parent - facilitator relationship to ensure good standing
Analysis of programme data
Administration:
Manage the safe keeping of Ignite assets
Submit a monthly report to the Programme Lead
Attend to all escalated matters and make referrals where necessary concerning learners
Manage the programme budget to have an oversight of all the programme's costs
Provide feedback on all Ignite activities during SteerCo with the Programme Lead
External and Internal Collaboration:
Attend to centre visitors to inform as per the programme for the day
Collaborate with external institutions/partners to implement external campaigns internally for the benefit of Afrika Tikkun
Work together with other programme managers within the respective centre to form a collective whole in supporting the success of a centre
Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:
NQF level 6 Diploma in Business, Programme/Project Management and/or Education
3 - 5 years' experience managing an Education related Programme or Project
3 - 5 years' experience in a leadership or management position
Required Skills:
Computer Literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Programme/Project Management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Report writing and planning skills
Presentation skills
Fluent in at least 2 or more languages
Relationship building skills
Problem solving and critical thinking
Behavioural Competencies:
Competent, self-motivated, honest, display integrity and friendly
Effective verbal and written communication
Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
