Job Description

To provide capacity and support to Senior Programme Managers in driving and rolling-out a series of Catalytic Projects within the City regions as part of the spatial transformation agenda informed by various national, provincial and municipal strategic plans and priorities.
This post reports to SENIOR PROGRAMME MANAGER
Key Responsibility Areas

• Undertake project management, implementation and coordination of a series of Catalytic projects across the city regions.
• Promoting economic development and increase value of land for production, the incumbent must monitor, evaluate and control the implementation of strategy for catalytic projects and operations.
• Maintain effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders frequently and within the private and public sectors and across various ongoing sectors to ensure effective partnerships in implementing their respective catalytic programmes and projects.
• Plan and prepare capital and operating estimates and controlling expenditure of their respective projects against the approval budget allocations.
• Contribute towards the Unit's implementation of organizational performance reporting process.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7) in one of the following disciplines: Architecture or Engineering or Town Planning or Property Development or Project and Construction Management or Quantity Surveying or Local Economic Development or Geographic Information Systems or Transport Management or equivalent.
• Professional Registration with the relevant Professional Body in any of the above disciplines where applicable.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• 4 Years relevant experience.
• Computer Literacy.

Preferred Requirements

• Postgraduate qualification (NQF Level 8 or higher) in one of the following disciplines: Architecture or Engineering or Town Planning or Property Development or Project and Construction Management or Quantity Surveying or Local Economic Development or Geographic Information Systems or Transport Management or equivalent.
• 6 Years relevant experience.
