Purpose of Role

We are seeking for a Programme Design Partner to play a key role in the Jasiri Talent Investor's design and development, driving ongoing improvement and innovation. Whether focusing on a specific aspect of the program or evaluating the broader design framework, the Programme Design Partner will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create resources and toolkits to meet the evolving needs of our ambitious entrepreneur cohorts. Working closely with the Head of Programme Design and the Program Leads, you'll support multiple cohorts in South Africa and Rwanda and additional locations as the program expands.



You will also be called on to support program design and content development processes for other programmes and initiatives offered by Jasiri.



We seek an adaptable, strategic thinker who can distil complexity into practical solutions. As Program Design Partner, you will work with multiple teams across our hubs, drawing on insights gained from the real-world application of our design to enhance the program's depth and effectiveness. This role must keep the entrepreneurial journey at the heart of all design work.

Objectives of Role

Program Design & Development

Create engaging, tailored resources that address the needs of early-stage entrepreneurs. Manage and maintain the "golden thread" connecting advisory and coaching support provided by our network of expert consultants on key topics such as business model innovation and customer discovery. Translate research-driven concepts into practical toolkits that help entrepreneurs reach critical milestones. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure that all content and resources are accurate, relevant, and responsive. Design strategies that pursue efficiency and feasibility in operational roll out across multiple, culturally variable locations.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Collaborate with the Monitoring, evaluation and Learning Manager when evaluating program effectiveness through participant feedback, and observations to drive continuous improvement. Experiment with advanced learning tools and techniques to boost engagement, retention, and overall program impact.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

Work closely with cross-functional teams (mentors, marketing, product, and community) to ensure the design aligns with programme goals. Partner with external experts and entrepreneurs-in-residence to co-create relevant and impactful content. Maintain open communication with entrepreneurs to understand their unique needs and refine the learning experience accordingly.

Experience and Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in business, Entrepreneurship, Social Studies, or a related field.; Having a master's degree is an added value. At least 5 years of working experience in program design or management, ideally with experience in entrepreneurship development programs. This role requires travel, approximately one trip per quarter.
