The requirements for this challenging position include:


Minimum 3 years' experience preferably in the education field with a suitable professional qualification Previous involvement in schools or educational community engagement programmes Experience in educational leadership, assessment and moderation, monitoring and evaluation A sound and progressive understanding of the South African education context Excellent verbal and written communication skills including report writing Exceptional planning and organising skills with attention to detail regarding day-to-day operational running of the programme Passion for the development of the teaching profession Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders within the Waterberg District Demonstrated ability to prioritise and work independently Experience in project management High level of integrity and confidentiality Flexibility to work outside of normal office hours including Saturdays A willingness to work within the values, Christian ethos and mission of the College Any staff member working within a school is required to have a sexual offender's clearance certificate. Implementation and monitoring of the Initial Teacher Intern Training Programme within the Waterberg District Regular liaison with the relevant staff and schools to ensure effective implementation of the programmes Assist Thandulwazi in overseeing the organic growth of the programme. Overseeing the professional aspects of the programme: ensuring that the standards of academic excellence and training are upheld Working with Thandulwazi to ensure accurate reporting and monitoring of the programme Willingness to gain knowledge in new educational programmes and applications for possible implication to enhance the programm e (open to learn new skills, growing and developing the programme) * Monitoring and evaluation including visits to community partner schools
