Purpose of the Role
The Programme Coordinator for the Higher Certificate in Digital Marketing & Social Media is responsible for the academic coordination, curriculum delivery, and marketing of the qualification. The role requires a dynamic professional with strong subject knowledge in digital marketing, content creation, and social media, coupled with the ability to promote the qualification to prospective students and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Coordination
Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Higher Certificate in Digital Marketing & Social Media.
Develop, review, and update learning materials, assessments, and programme documentation.
Support lecturers and tutors in programme delivery, ensuring academic quality and student success.
Monitor student performance, provide academic support interventions, and compile progress reports.
Content Creation & Marketing
Create engaging digital content (videos, infographics, blogs, social media campaigns) to promote the qualification.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase student enrolments and brand awareness.
Collaborate with the Marketing Department to design campaigns targeting key student markets.
Act as a brand ambassador for AIFT by showcasing the programme's unique value proposition.
Programme Administration
Coordinate student registration, timetables, and programme logistics.
Serve as the primary point of contact for student queries related to the qualification.
Compile reports for management on enrolments, retention, and programme outcomes.
Build relationships with industry partners to enhance work-integrated learning opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related field (Honours preferred).
Minimum 2 years' experience in digital marketing, content creation, or social media management.
Strong knowledge of marketing strategy, digital platforms, and emerging trends.
Proven experience in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Competence in academic coordination or programme management will be advantageous.
