is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects while ensuring procurement processes align with project requirements and organizational goals. This role requires proficiency in project management tools, particularly MS Projects, to effectively manage schedules, timelines, and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Programme Management:
Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules using MS Projects.
Coordinate project timelines to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and completion.
Project Implementation and Execution:
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, from planning to handover.
Ensure projects are executed according to quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
Delay Notifications and Extensions of Time:
Identify potential delays and issue timely notifications to relevant stakeholders.
Manage and process requests for extensions of time (EOT) in line with contractual requirements.
Penalty Management:
Assess project performance against milestones.
Issue and manage penalties in accordance with contract terms when necessary.
Site Establishment and Coordination:
Ensure site setup is completed efficiently and meets project requirements.
Conduct dilapidation surveys and reports to document the condition of the site before project initiation.
Oversee site coordination, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams and contractors.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and issue comprehensive reports, including site minutes and progress updates.
Maintain accurate project documentation for accountability and compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Proficiency:
Advanced knowledge of MS Projects for planning and tracking progress.
Programme Management Expertise:
Proven experience in managing large-scale programs or projects.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and ensure proactive communication.
Attention to Detail:
Strong ability to manage reports, schedules, and documentation with accuracy.
Stakeholder Management:
Experience in coordinating with diverse teams, contractors, and clients.
Contract Knowledge:
Understanding of construction contracts and penalty management.
Education & Certification:
Qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field. PMP or similar certification is advantageous.
