: Applicants must hold a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field and have at least 10 years of experience in the tertiary education or research sector. Evidence of teaching excellence, a strong postgraduate supervision track record (MSc and PhD), and an outstanding publication record in leading international conferences and/or journals is essential. An NRF rating will be considered advantageous, where applicable. Experience in academic citizenship ? such as committee work, peer review activities, external examining, curriculum development, and mentorship ? is strongly desirable.
Duties:
The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science; supervise and co-supervise MSc and PhD students; maintain an internationally competitive research programme; contribute to curriculum development and innovation; participate actively in the academic administration of the School and the wider university community and assist in the mentorship and development of junior staff.
