Job Requirements
Requirements:
A PhD in Economics At least 10 years of teaching experience in a tertiary institution or 7 years of professional experience in the relevant field. At least 15 articles published in accredited journals, chapters in a book or book publication. Have supervised at least four Masters or PhD students to completion Evidence of generating third-stream income is an added advantage
Duties, among other, include
Delivering lectures at all levels of Economics in the Department
Pursuing an active research programme, which includes conducting original research in the field of economics, publishing in accredited journals and peer reviewed books
Build academic citizenship, including collaboration with national and international external partners and community-engaged academic activities
Recruiting and supervising post-graduate students
Contributing to the well-being of the Department
