Our client is looking for a Professional Structural Engineer to play a key role in designing, analyzing, and managing structural engineering projects across a diverse portfolio -- from commercial buildings and industrial facilities to bridges and infrastructure developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural design and analysis for new and existing structures.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure design compliance with local standards and codes.
- Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Review and approve designs by junior engineers or consultants.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
- BSc/BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's advantageous).
- Pr.Eng registration (ECSA) is essential.
- Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in structural design and project delivery.
- Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., Prokon, Revit, Etabs, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of relevant SANS codes and international standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
