Senior Quantity Surveyor
to join their team in our Umhlanga office, Durban.Job Requirements : Please provide PROOF OF PR REGISTRATION AND QUALIFICATIONS IN EMAILED RESPONSE:
BSc (Honours) in Quantity Surveying
Professionally registered as a PrQS with SACQSP
Minimum 10 years relevant experience in both construction and consulting environments (with at least 5 years as a PQS)
Experience on multi-disciplinary industrial projects will be advantageous
Key Result Areas :
Estimating Bill Preparation Tender & Contract Arrangements Contract Administration Scope Management Final Accounts Site measurements Required knowledge and skills : QS software (WinQS and DimX) MS Office suite of software People Management Broad Knowledge of JBCC, FIDIC and NEC contracts Experience in Industrial and Commercial projects Client relations Standard system of measurement General construction technology
Driver's licence with own vehicle
Must be willing and able to travel to sites and clients in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa for short term visits.
