National diploma in Communications or related.
2 - 5 years relevant experience communications environment.
Computer Literacy
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
A valid driver's licence
Key Performance Areas
Implement & execute the communication strategy for
Housing Directorate.
Liaising with Public Engagement and communication
departments.
Ensure the effective and efficient management and
coordination of printed resources.
Prepare for engagement activities i.e receiving of content
for engagements - workshops, surveys, meetings.
Partake in the National Housing Consumer Education
Programme for Directorate by ensuring that Housing
Directorate meets its delivery targets in respects of
beneficiary education relating to responsible homeownership.
Co-ordinate and plan public events and ensures public
participation by ensuring that the public face of the
Housing Directorate is always portrayed in a positive light.
Overseeing the management, monitoring and
communication, relating to the City's Integrated Housing
Database system by ordering the City to fulfil its obligations
and responsibilities in terms of carrying out its delivery
objectives.
Assist in the development of a customer services / relations
policy and standards for the housing.
