Job Summary Key Responsibilities:

Triage, assess, and manage acute trauma and emergency cases
Provide immediate, stabilising care to patients with life-threatening injuries or conditions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams during critical interventions
Administer emergency medications, fluids, and life-saving procedures within scope of practice
Maintain accurate and timeous patient documentation in accordance with DOH protocols
Adhere to infection prevention and control standards within public healthcare settings
Support patient care in high-volume, resource-constrained environments

Essential Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognised institution
Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse
Sound knowledge of trauma protocols and triage systems
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Commitment to professional, ethical, patient-centred care
