Job Description
This is a unique role for an experienced, young, talented Apparel Product/Merchandise Co-ordinator, who has experience in executing detailed tech packs, developing product (Sports Brands) and monitoring the critical path with regards to supplier liaison, technical feasibility issues, design optimisation, production issues, etc. To find out more:
Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Product Development.
- Conducting local product development tech packs, specifications and costings.
- Translate technical product details into design and CAD as per brand specifications.
- Assessing branding quality and colour approvals for production.
- Production planning on outsourced garments.
- Assisting with the development of current and future product lines from International Licensed Brand principals.
- Sourcing and developing trims and labels.
- Liaising with suppliers and service providers.
- Assisting with product styling and shoots when required.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design and or Apparel Product Development.
Experience: Minimum of 2 - 5 years experience in product development, tech packs, sourcing admin.
Additional: xe2x80xa2 Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong interpersonal and representational skills. xe2x80xa2 Design skills, research abilities, analytical strengths, teamwork strengths. xe2x80xa2 Good planning, administrative and time management capabilities. xe2x80xa2 Ability to manage conflicting priorities, deal with pressure and constant change. xe2x80xa2 Ability to work comfortably with Google Workspace as well as Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel. xe2x80xa2 Ability to CAD technical garments and construction specifications.
