Job Description
Main Purpose of the Job
You will be required to assist in production, this Includes material handling and loading and unloading of jigs.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Machine Settings / Production Control
Carry out the production plan / schedule as per instruction from the supervisor, planner, or manager. Maintain the batch control and a count of completed parts on the job card. Ensure 5s in the work area. Packing of the parts produced. Material handling of raw materials, work in progress and finished goods. Record all operations on the production system and ERP system
Quality
Ensure quality procedure are always followed. Perform quality inspections. First-Offs, Last-Offs, Attribute Samples, Final Acceptance Cards Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Matric Diploma (Essential) with Maths and Physical Science Proficient in English, both written and verbal (Essential) Computer Skills (Preferrable)
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES
Attention to details. Be self-motivated. Have a good attendance record.
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: From R40,08 per hour
Expected hours: 44.50 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal 3201: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
