Production Supervisor

Job Description
The Production Supervisor will oversee day-to-day production while ensuring the utmost quality of all fertiliser products.
Main Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations and resolve on-site problems Support and assist the Production Manager Ensure that the end products comply with the specification and quality requirements Review and train on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in the relevant areas Ensure that the manufacturing process is punctual and of excellent quality Ensure health and safety standards are met Assist with the management of the factory staff Ad Hoc or other related duties as assigned
Skills and Capabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrates high attention to detail Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, independent judgement and professionalism The ability to perform high standards under pressure
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
National Diploma in Chemical/Process Engineering or any similar qualification
Experience
2-3 years experience in a factory or plant environment Experience leading a team (big or small)
Other specific requirements
Willingness to work shifts Full professional proficiency in Afrikaans and English (speaking and writing) Own transport is crucial Proficiency in MS Office * Forklift license will be advantageous
