RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our client's team in the Mining Industry. Our client is a reputable mining company based in Mpumalanga, known for their commitment to safety and operational excellence.As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the production processes in the mining operations. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety regulations are followed.Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all production activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules and targets.
• Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions to optimize productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage and develop a team of production workers, providing guidance and support.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline production processes and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mining Engineering
• Opencast Blasting certificate for Coal Mines
• At least 2 different types of opencast machine licenses
• At least 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a Digger/Dragline Operator / Blaster
• At least 2 years' Truck & Shovel experience
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the mining industry
