PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Fruitways Farming has an ideal opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor to take responsibility of a fruit production unit in the
Grabouw
areain the Western Cape.Reporting to a Production Manager at
Glen Elgin
you will be responsible to optimise the efficient and effective management of farming operations.Responsibilities:
Managing two teams of 16 employees that continuously achieve production and quality targets Be able and willing to handle basic disciplinary actions when needed. Engage with employees with regards to industrial relations matters such as grievances, ensure policies and procedures are adhered to etc Identify training needs for team Ensure that Health and Safety measures are implemented Able to drive continuous improvement and help team come up with innovative ways to solve problems
Requirements:Grade 12 Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role. Driver's licence Candidate should ideally be able to communicate in Xhosa, English, and Afrikaans Apple and/or Pear farming experience is not a necessity but will be beneficial
