Our client is seeking a qualified Production Superintendent to oversee the metallurgical processes and quality within their processing plants on site in the Northern Cape.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the metallurgical processing and maintenance to ensure optimal plant efficiency and output.
- Managing of production activities and troubleshooting deviances.
- Analyzing and reporting on processing information.
- Controlling of processing chemicals.
- Mentoring and training of subordinates.
- Continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
- Relevant Metallurgical qualification.
- Trade Certificate advantageous.
- Diploma in Quality Management advantageous.
- Matric certificate.
- Driver’s license.
- 10 years’ experience within processing in the mining sector, with at least 3 years in a Supervisor level role.
- Previous mechanical and electrical engineering exposure within the processing plant.
- Applicants must have South African citizenship and currently reside in South Africa.
