Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planner/Scheduler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing production schedules to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products. You will collaborate closely with various departments including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality control to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Division and Department: Production Planning

Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required:

oStandard 10 / Grade 12 or equivalent with good results in mathematics.

oTertiary study is an advantage.

oMin 5 years in a production environment with at least 3 years planning and scheduling experience in a similar environment.

oExcellent English communication skills, oral and written.

oExcellent computer skills, working with MS Office

oMust be prepared to work overtime / weekends / shifts in accordance with operational requirements

oExcellent health

Brief Description of Key Performance Areas:

oPrepare daily plan for each machine.

oMonitor production status and progress to ensure all jobs planned and in process are completed on time.

oAllocate and distribute work-load per team and operator for optimal productivity in pursuance of deadlines.

oCalculate running times and estimate completion times.

oCheck that the prep mirrors the production plan.
