Production Manager Joinery & Upholstery
Job Description
A leading manufacturing company with a global footprint is seeking a Production Manager for their Upholstery Department based in Cape Town. You will be responsible for implementing and controlling production schedules, adhere to production targets, develop, implement, and maintain the factory maintenance schedule, as well as liaising with internal stakeholders for incoming products at dispatch and receiving. Your KPIs will also include, but not limited to, ensuring proper stock control, maintaining Continuous Improvement processes, identify and manage potential risks, and implementing and monitoring the line Waste Management Plan.

Requirements:
NQF Level 5 Diploma in Engineering, Operations, or related
3 - 5 yearsxc3xa2xc2x80xc2x99 related line/production management experience in the upholstery industry
Strong working knowledge in Lean Manufacturing techniques (5S, Kaizen, Lead Time Reduction, etc.)
Computer Literate
Knowledge of upholstery techniques and processes will be advantageous
