A well-established manufacturer of modular water storage systems is seeking a Production Manager to lead its manufacturing operations at their KwaZulu-Natal facility.
This role calls for a strong leader with hands-on experience in metal fabrication, tank assembly, and production planning, capable of driving quality, efficiency, and team performance in a fast-paced environment.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• a? Minimum of 5-8 years' experience in a production management role within a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment
• a? Solid understanding of Lean manufacturing principles, process flow, and continuous improvement methods
• a? Strong background in team leadership, workflow management, and production scheduling
• a? Ability to oversee safety, quality control, and on-time project delivery
• a? Excellent communication and reporting skills
• a? Based in KwaZulu-Natal, with full-time on-site availability

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations and ensure adherence to production plans
• Lead and mentor a team of Supervisors and production staff, promoting accountability and growth
• Monitor resource allocation, material flow, and equipment utilisation to ensure maximum efficiency
• Implement and manage quality control processes and ensure compliance with company and safety standards
• Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and logistics to streamline production output
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost optimisation projects
• Maintain accurate production reports, metrics, and performance tracking
