Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing employees on the use of all tools, equipment, and resources, ensure compliance with established TMC policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with EHS and TMC regulations and guidelines to uphold quality expectations of customer and company
Partner with EHS Manager to effectively communicate and enforce a safety culture in daily operations.
Identify training and development opportunities for production foreman and their teams and monitor progress against KPIs.
Manage workforce planning to ensure proper staffing levels to maintain productivity (i.e., order readiness, customer specs, speed trails, etc.)
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and monitor all control procedures, recommending improvements to the Plant Manager as appropriate
Ensure all TMC standards and customer commitments (i.e., safety, waste reductions, output, etc are followed within the plant.
Partner with the Warehouse to ensure production is delivered on time in full as per the demand plan to ensure delivery of the required level of Customer Service.
Lead, coach and develop your direct reports in order to increase their capability, commitment, drive and performance output so that the organization reaches its objectives, executes its strategies and progresses towards its vision. In addition, as a means of achieving the aforementioned, create an environment built on trust, open and transparent communication, innovation and pro-active behaviours.
Is this job for you?
The ideal candidate must have completed a Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Chemical Engineering. This role requires World Class Manufacturing Autonomous Maintenance Practitioner. Must have at least years' experience in a Production or Process discipline in a continuous process manufacturing environment. The candidate must have 3 years' experience in a management/leadership role. The required candidate should be familiar with management of the autonomous maintenance pillar, application of 5s improvement projects and should be able to apply the basic tools (OPLs, SOPs, Tags, QKs, EWO's, etc)

This role will be responsible for managing and coordinating direct reports and manufacturing activities, utilizing systems knowledge of product function, WCM methodology, procedures and machine and equipment capabilities. Provide leadership and direction to the manufacturing facility including overseeing plant production, materials, equipment and tools to ensure efficiency is maintained and projects remain on schedule. To maximise yield; OEE; TE; EHS and minimise unplanned stops, breakdowns and HERCAs through continuous improvement methods, technology, equipment and materials and partnership with key stakeholders
