Job Description

Hire Resolve is seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to lead our client's agricultural operations. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, coordination, and management of production activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in our agricultural processes.

Responsibilities

• Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet production goals and optimize resource utilization.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor production teams, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain quality control measures throughout the production process to ensure products meet industry standards and specifications.
• Resource Management: Coordinate and allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, track stock movements, and manage supply chain activities to maintain adequate inventory levels while minimizing overstock or shortages.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement, implementing innovative solutions and best practices.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations in all production activities.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular reports on production performance, analyze data, and present insights to senior management for decision-making purposes.

Requirements:

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related field. A relevant postgraduate qualification may be advantageous.
• 5 years of progressive experience in agricultural production management, with a proven track record of leadership and achievement.
• Strong understanding of agricultural production processes, crop cultivation, and/or livestock management.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities to effectively manage and motivate diverse teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address production challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing circumstances.
