Production Factory Plant Manager
Job Description
A well-established, high-output manufacturing facility in Bellville is urgently seeking a Production Factory Plant Manager to lead operations in a 24/7 production environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong, hands-on leader with proven factory management experience and the ability to drive performance, quality, and safety across multiple shifts.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage a plant running 7 days a week, 24/7 with 40-60 staff across 3 shifts
Lead and coordinate x2 Assistant Managers and a single production line
Oversee daily production targets, quality control, and team performance
Enforce Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management compliance
Uphold and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)
Ensure staff training, development, and procedural discipline
Communicate effectively and take full operational responsibility
Minimum Requirements
5+ years' experience in production/factory management
Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
Immediate availability (non-negotiable)
Strong leadership, attention to detail, and a quality-driven mindset
