  • Production/ Operations Management:
  • Develop, implement, and optimize operational strategies to enhance productivity, minimize downtime, and reduce costs.
  • Monitor daily production activities to ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and improve workflow efficiency.
  • High Focus in managing Safety, Production, Quality, Planning & Costing.
  • Supervise production staff, including technicians, operators, and supervisors, to ensure proper training, performance, and
adherence to safety protocols. * Conduct regular inspections of equipment, facilities, and processes to identify and address any issues affecting productionefficiency or product quality. * Develop production plans and schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization.
  • Coordinate with sales, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise production staff, including assemblers, technicians, and machine operators.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement training programs to enhance employee skills.
Production Engineering:
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement efficient production processes for wire harness manufacturing.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes to improve quality, reduce waste, and increase output.
  • Introduce innovative techniques and technologies to enhance production capabilities and competitiveness.
Quality:
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that wire harnesses meet industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Establish and monitor quality assurance procedures throughout the production process.
Maintenance:
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of production equipment.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment uptime.
  • Establish relationships with equipment suppliers and service providers to ensure timely support and maintenance.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Lead and manage projects related to process improvement, capacity expansion, and technology integration.
  • Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor project progress to ensure timely completion within budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify project requirements and deliverables.
Safety & Risk Management:
  • Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Implement risk management strategies to minimize operational risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
Cost Management:
  • Monitor production costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenses without compromising quality.
  • Develop and manage budgets for labour, materials, and overhead expenses.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Project Management (Advantageous).
  • Proven experience in wire harness manufacturing within the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • In-depth knowledge of production processes, equipment, and technologies related to wire harness manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements applicable to automotive manufacturing.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., CAD, ERP systems) and data analysis tools.
Skills Required:
  • Computer Literate (Intermediate).
  • Use of Measuring Equipment.
  • Good Communication Skills (verbal & written).
  • Strong Interpersonal & People Management Skills (Analytical, Problem-Solving, & Decision-Making skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Agile Leadership Skills to deliver, process, manufacture improvements and projects.
  • Technical Competencies in Manufacturing (e.g. technical drawings, blueprints, and maintenance).
  • In-depth Knowledge of regulatory requirements, ensure compliance of quality and knowledge on OHSA.
  • Safety Risk Management.
  • High Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a highly pressurized environment.
  • Deadline driven.
