Omari Construction is a fast-growing, multi-state roofing and construction company specializing in insurance restoration, residential roofing, and multi-family projects. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Production Coordinator to support our operations team and ensure jobs move smoothly from contract approval to installation. This position requires strong communication, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
Position Overview
The Production Coordinator is responsible for coordinating material orders, scheduling installs, and ensuring that every job is prepared properly for the production team and crews. This role is critical to keeping projects on schedule and maintaining communication with homeowners, installers, and sales representatives.
This position pays
$4/hour for 40 hours per week
. This is an hourly role -
if you do not work, you do not get paid.
Key Responsibilities
Material Ordering & Job Preparation
Order roofing and construction materials through
ABC Supply or other required vendors
.
Build and maintain
material templates
for common jobs.
Track
cost per square
, materials used, and job profitability.
Review contracts and approve them within company pricing guidelines.
Scheduling & Homeowner Communication
Coordinate
installation dates
with homeowners.
Schedule crews and ensure they have correct addresses, material lists, and instructions.
Confirm change orders are signed before work begins.
Crew Management & Documentation
Communicate with installers before, during, and after job completion.
Review installers' invoices for accuracy before approval.
Upload all documents, pictures, invoices, and payments into the CRM (
AccuLynx
).
Ensure project status tabs are updated daily (payments, production, documents, notes).
Team Coordination
Communicate with sales reps regarding job readiness, missing documents, or customer updates.
Make sure all change orders, supplements, and revisions are processed correctly.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
Excellent communication skills (phone, text, email).
Ability to learn and operate CRM systems -
AccuLynx experience is a major plus
.
Detail-oriented and disciplined with time and task management.
Experience in roofing or construction production is preferred but not required.
Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a major plus
and may increase responsibilities.
Hours & Compensation
40 hours per week
$4/hour (hourly)
Paid only for hours actively worked
