Job Summary Qualification
- Diploma in Production Management or related field.
- 5 Years experience in a production environment .
- Knowledge of industrial heating systems would be an advantage (manufacturing, installation and commissioning services).
- Computer literate on MS Office and ERP systems.
- Functioning as the primary liaison between Production and Sales regarding scheduling and lead times.
- Loading of new production orders in the ERP system.
- Coordination with engineering to obtain the required production documents (job cards, drawings, BOMs).
- Ensuring materials availability by reserving stock and ordering materials for production requirements.
- Developing and maintaining the production schedule to meet delivery commitments and optimize workflow.
- Issuing of job cards to the production floor.
- Monitoring production flow, identifying bottlenecks, and proactively expediting critical orders.
- Closing of completed production jobs in the ERP system.
- Analysing material usage variances to identify opportunities for improved accuracy or efficiency.
