Production Assistant (water And Nuts)
Job Description
Babylonstoren has an exciting new position for a production assistant to join the nut- and water-production team.
Requirements
A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12).
2-3 years' relevant experience in a food processing environment.
Valid forklift licence would be advantageous.
Good comprehension, ability to adapt, and a fast learner.
Good interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of production packing processes and equipment.
Willingness to work overtime, night shift and over weekends when operationally required.
Responsibilities
Execution of general activities in production facility.
Comply with food safety, health and safety, and housekeeping requirements.
Participate in a workplace efficiency program and comply with housekeeping.
Assist with bottling and labelling activities.
* Forklift driver for the warehouse area.
