Job Description
Refinery is looking for a confident, positive and resilient Product Technologist for Menswear who is passionate about fashion and loves working in a team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for technical support by developing, maintaining and enhancing consistent quality products and processes, in support of the brand's product strategy. Our ideal candidate must be self-motivated, positive, and passionate about performance and is a resilient individual who can think laterally and who has a focus for detail and can work independently.
Qualifications
- B.Tech Degree in Clothing Management or Fashion Design
- 5 Years retail experience in product technology - specifically in apparel
- Computer literate in Google suite
- Function well under pressure
- Work flexible hours - plan & manage own time
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Ability to resolve issues
- Good communication skills - written & interpersonal
- Team Player
- Customer service oriented
- Provide technical expertise to Suppliers, Merchandise and Design teams
- Continually develop, implement and review product specifications
- Maintain and improve product quality
- Accurately assess products against company product specifications within the critical path
- Provide construction and fabric guidance on product quality performance and testing requirements
- Supplier SWOT analysis
- Analyze customer feedback to improve product performance and reliability
- To build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders to meet company objectives
