A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking a Product Specialist - Specialised Small Volume Parenteral for their Anaesthesia portfolio in Pretoria region.
Job purpose:
To call on targeted specialists (Anesthesiologists) in the specified therapeutic area to promote the use of the company's products.
Build rapport with all Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Specialists, Nursing staff and Pharmacists within the hospital environment.
Key job outputs:

• Implementation of strategies to relevant customer base
• Facilitate and generate orders
• Achieve all established sales and marketing objectives as well as measure performance against objectives
• Continuous targeting and updating of customer database
• Plan and organize your territory to achieve optimal outcome
• Be aware of market trends and competitor activity
• Research, analyze, plan and recommend new business opportunities
• Manage budgets and expenses
• Build and maintain relationships at all levels

• Nursing staff
• Arrange CME meetings, practice lunches / dinners and symposiums
• Administration responsibilities

Requirements:

• Science degree / diploma.
• Minimum 3-5 years proven successful track record in the pharmaceutical industry will be required, In Hospital / Specialist setting, within the anaesthetic arena i.e. theatre and intensive care units.
• Strong understanding of anesthetics within the clinical environment.
• Established relationships with KOLs within the Pretoria region and surrounding territories.
