Overview
We're looking for a dynamic, forward-thinker that can have a foot in the strategic long-term view, while operating in the day-to-day tactical world of Product Development.
As the Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products that meet market needs and enhance user satisfaction.
Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be key in leading our efforts to optimise our business processes and enhancing customer experiences through this powerful platform.
Tasks include:

• Define and communicate the product vision and strategy aligned with company goals.
• Turning company goals into prioritised features within a product roadmap.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaison with stakeholders, including customers, leadership, and engineering, to gather and prioritise requirements.
• Backlog Prioritisation: Create and manage a detailed, prioritised backlog ensuring it aligns with the strategic vision and goals.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 modules to guide configuration and integration efforts.
• Agile Practices: Lead Scrum teams, participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups,
• Review and Retrospectives to deliver high-impact product increments.
• User Stories & Acceptance Criteria: Write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria ensuring development matches expectations and delivers value.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the product's lifecycle from conception through launch and beyond, ensuring continual improvement and market relevance.
• Market Research & Analysis: Conduct competitor research, market analysis, and engage with customers to inform product direction and innovation.
• Performance Tracking: Outcome driven, defining and tracking key performance metrics to evaluate product success and areas for improvement.
• Strong believer in using research to drive and validate hypothesis ensuring customer-centricity leads.

• Qualifications: Relevant degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
• Certified Product owner or similar

• Experience: At least 6 years as a Product Owner.
• Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Understanding of the Claims environment within the Life Insurance industry advantageous.
• Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills so that the team is comfortable taking direction from you and stakeholders enjoy collaborating with you.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a hybrid manner.
• Excellent prioritisation skills based on value.
• Creative problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box.
• Experience with product lifecycle management and software development tools such as Jira.
