Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Marketing Lead to join their team. This pivotal role will be responsible for aligning product offerings with the brand's identity and ensuring they connect meaningfully with target audiences. You will translate product features into compelling customer value propositions and support go-to-market plans for both online and offline campaigns.
Working closely with product, design, tech, and sales teams, you will craft marketing strategies and content that drive product understanding, adoption, and customer engagement. This role reports to the Head of Marketing & Brand and plays a key part in brand growth through insight-led, customer-centric execution.
Key Responsibilities
Understand the full suite of products and how they meet customer needs.
Plan and execute campaigns that drive product usage, education, and adoption.
Collaborate with product stakeholders to understand roadmap items and new releases.
Translate technical product features into clear, customer-facing messaging and creative briefs.
Tailor campaigns to different audiences, including shopkeepers, agents, and partners.
Roll out marketing elements across both online and offline channels.
Partner with the sales and operations teams to ensure successful delivery in the field.
Support partner-specific product marketing initiatives, including targeted product pushes.
Monitor and report on campaign performance, using insights to refine future initiatives.
Maintain up-to-date marketing materials that are relevant and effective.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in brand management or product marketing.
Proven experience supporting product development processes.
Strong understanding of marketing and communication principles.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in market research and data analysis tools.
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute effectively.
Experience in fintech, telecommunications, or FMCG industries preferred.
Understanding of informal markets and consumer behaviour will be an advantage.
Grade 12 with a tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
