Southern Fruit Growers currently has the above position available at their head office in Somerset West. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and analytical individual, who had the ability to identify and develop commercial opportunities. The incumbent furthermore has the ability to influence others and build relationships with local and international stakeholders.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Sales and Marketing, and will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Demand planning and matching in conjunction with clients and producers *Liaison with relevant parties to ensure adherence to customer packaging and fruit specification requirements *Manage weekly packaging and shipping plans *Identify marketing opportunities and negotiate competitive pricing strategies *Maintain and improve the quality profile offering to clients *Manage P&L for Soft Citrus category *Build relationships and provide feedback to producers *Provide sustainable and competitive returns to producers *all other tasks related to the role.

Minimum requirements:
Degree in Horticulture/Agriculture or Commerce/Marketing;
3 years experience within the Fruit Export industry;
Full MS Office, specifically Excel (incl. the ability to use Pivot tables);
Own vehicle with valid license;
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally;
Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English).
